1hr to go, I guess wordy posts shall flood my blog for a while. Previous post was a mess of emotions but today I have sorted out my thoughts quite a bit better. It's so scary to see the date 1/1/2012, but new beginnings are always wonderful. 2012 seems like a really big deal to me and I'm so unprepared yet excited at the same time. Thank God for all the wonderful experiences in 2011. Idk what else to say without sounding insanely cheesy but I really hope 2012 is a nice year as well.

It's about 4am today and I'm feeling contemplative so I shall write an entire blogpost about 2011. Maybe (most probably) I will feel contemplative again and write another long blogpost. So how has this year been? Not many people ask this question because it's just so weird in the common text contexts and looking back, I honestly don't know. I can't say whether it's been a good or bad year per se because so many things have happened in this 365 days that I can't even put into a word, indescribable maybe. 365 days, about 52 weeks (not lying i had to google that), 1 year. I really hate how I'm getting older to be honest. Getting older means more responsibilities. I always thought I was a pretty responsible kid until one day I realised i wasn't. that day, i realised that my notion and supposed "meaning" of responsibility was a lie. There are moments in life where I just feel like my entire life has been a lie. Idk, this is dumb so I'm not going to talk about this anymore. Please don't get the wrong idea, I'm not going to talk about it not because it's getting too personal or whatever, (though it really sounds like it), I don't have tears pouring down but it is genuinely because I am tired of the topic.

Ideas. I really, really, really hate impressions and ideas. It's so horrible because every single time I feel as though someone would judge me for my actions, or think something about me because of what I do/did. It's horrible, sometimes I don't think about it but most of the time my overactive brain will think back to a really embarrasing time and be like, WAIT, what did people think of me then? shit, they must think I'm retarded and not wanna be my friend anymore. shit, I just made a fool out of myself. that guy must think I'm some dumb bimbo. i don't know whether it's the way society is or the way I am but I just think too much. I think too much about the opinions of other people, sometimes my own doesn't really matter to me much. I may seem like the stubborn-est person sometimes but it's really only on the smallest of matters, the opinions of people can really sway me so much it's scary to think back on. Sometimes you just think, who cares, I'm gonna live my life for myself and not care about anyone who disagrees. For me, it's not that easy, and I'm gonna say that though i sometimes think that I can never ever get around to doing that, it's almost as though my brain isn't programmed to function that way. This year there were so many backstabbers, so many lies and I got hurt over things that never used to matter to me.

This year, I just feel more complicated to be honest. which actually makes sense, because I'm adding on a year to my 13 (and now 14) years on this earth. 14 seems so young in some contexts and now I'm thinking about how young I am but then again sometimes I think I'm just so old and disgusting for whatever reason.

This year, I wonder about my life in 10 years time. looking back on my life just maybe 2 years ago (p6), I can honestly see how I have matured because I mean, I was a pretty immature bitch when i was p4-6. I can't even believe I acted that way and kinda hate myself about it. But who cares about maturity, to me, maturity is something I sometimes think of but for the most part, I don't really care because honestly it's not a very interesting subject.

This year, my perceptions on many things have changed but I never say it out loud. I seem to have kept my ideas and opinions about things (more serious ones obviously) more to myself. This year, my trust in God honestly sometimes wavered but many things this year were such miracles and I just watched this youtube video that really made me think. Many things this year made me think and many things this year made me cry. There were tears shed this year, but not over typical things like love (LOL #foreveralone)

I like people who are inquisitive to a certain extent. I like them in books but hate them in real life. I like it when in books, people are like, I wonder why this person is on the bus. I think it's interesting in books but in real life it honestly spells a very awkward/annoying/weird conversation.

Thinking back there are honestly many things I have forgotten. Details that I promised to remember but obviously didn't. 2011 seems like a bunch of small jigsaw puzzles that i cannot fit together and I'm jealous of people who have a constant diary because I wish I did. I want to remember ever single detail of my life if I could, because somehow I think I forgot some things that were life-changing. I seem to forget life-changing things very easily and remember the not-so-important ones.

2011 was a weird year, I seemed to "party" a lot. I seemingly remember to work much harder in 2010. every year, i leave the year sad and oddly wishing the year would never end and this was one of them. Change is hard for me. I missed 2010 for that few days of 2011 and now I'm missing 2011 but to be honest the "missing" will only last for a few days till I get used to it. But then, there will be a point in my life where i accidentally write "2010" in my paper and feel like crying, because 2010-2011 was not SUCH a big change but change was still there. 2011-2012 is going to be an even bigger change and I don't know what to think of it just yet, but I know I will miss people. 2011 was such a weird year because it passed by so fast.

I'm out of thoughts now so I'm going to stop writing soon.

2011 was a nice year in all. Nice but mean at the same time. I can't do these "year" blog posts well because most of the time I look back and can't put into words how the events make me feel. but I think that 2011 was a nice year.

Hello guys (: so it's 28 minutes away from Christmas & I'm super excited, happy birthday Jesus <3

I'm just gonna bring y'all a post about my trip to Koh Samui, Thailand that occurred 8-11 December. It was a short trip but SO FUN, the resort was breathtaking & the weather was so chilly and amazing. Definitely one of my most memorable trips (:

DAY 1, 9Dec

the sight you see when you look out fr my resort, amazing or what. I spent like maybe 7hrs in total just sitting by the pool and staring out, enjoying the breeze hehe. The weather was maybe 18degrees on average? superrrrrr comfortable!

Fisherman's Port, we visited it for their night market that was not very impressive but it was next to the sea which was pretty!

DAY 2, 10Dec

Went to elephant ride/waterfall viewing.

My blog is so dead & I can't stand it but i have nothing to post so oh, gosh. I felt that compelled to post this post today because I posted about it last year (time flies) and I wanted to do it again because it is quite possibly the last time i can.
Drama camp presentation is tomorrow and this year, my character is much more emotionally angsty haha, i'm acting as a drug addict this time trying to curb her addiction by cutting herself. i only have 2 lines, (because main roles are given to sec1s traditionally) but it's such a fun role to play i'm loving it. my bruises/grazes from falling off the table honestly hurts so bad but i'm trying my best to keep it in because that's the essence of giving a good performance, just getting up because people are not here to hear you bitch about how badly you are hurt.
btw i only have 2 hrs to sleep, oh gosh. I don't know how i'm gonna wake up. ):
ah since this post is pretty short i shall talk about what i wanna buy. haha because that is all important to me.

Stationary for next year! Even though i won't be starting lessons till around February but I have already bought some files and a stapler that is adorable. Life has been good. <: I LOVE THE HOLIDAYS seriously.
My life has been consisting of: Watching youtube videos, reading blogs of different genres and pursuing some of my long lost hobbies. I have officially gotten addicted to youtube videos.
I really really really really really like reading fashion blogs all of a sudden. Especially European ones, I think their fashion is pretty dang awesome. I would honestly love to do something like that, and have photoshoots everyday at beautiful locations but unfortunately for me I have no-one who is willing to be my photographer LOL.
^That's like the sad part of my holidays. but i really do like the holidays. like, I would hate it if lessons started. I'm dreading it already even though it's only the start of november. (BUT time passes way too fast so november will probably be over in a heartbeat)
I WANNA GO H&M! I know i'm so mainstream and following the crowd and whatever but so many people get awesome things at H&M and i wanna see for myself how is it. (:

1st November, 2011.

Time seems to have passed so fast. Honestly, looking back I don't remember much. That's what so scary about this year. Looking back I think time has passed so fast, but I don't remember much, just bits and pieces here and there that never seem to fit together. My mind is a whirl of thoughts and I feel a mix of emotions. I really don't know what to think or feel anymore, with the new year coming in exactly 2 months time. In 2 months time, where will I be? My resolutions for this year all completed? to be honest at the start of this year I only set out with one (main) resolution and it kills me that I only have 2 months left to complete it. But in a more positive light, the holidays have started. Holidays mean more time to think, more time to do things. But holidays also mean that time passes especially fast, and I'm very, very sure that i don't want that.

I used to wish that time would move faster, that time would catch up with what seemed to be the pace of life, that fast, never-ending rat race. but now, I never hope that time passes faster, because I now know that time waits for no-one, and that we can never catch up with time no matter how fast we do things. Now, I just wish time would slow down, because it seems as if I no longer have time to stop and smell the roses, life is just a horrible race down the road that never seems to end.

anyway whilst waiting for her to come to my house I attempted to take bokeh shots and it was from fail->SUPER AWESOME SHOTS. In an attempt to make my blog more educational I shall explain to you the process. (:

WHAT IS BOKEH. (:

hehe first things first is to know what bokeh is, obviously. Bokeh is basically unfocused balls of light. The problem is that it's really hard to achieve bokeh with a compact camera because compact cameras do not have a special autofocus system that allows that. Also, bokeh requires special lens because the lens kinda go hand in hand with the autofocus system, some lens do not allow certain types of autofocus or manual focus or anything of that matter. I started off with a normal 42mm lens w slight zoom (idk if there is a proper name for it but i don't know what the proper name of it should be anyway LOL), and that didn't really go well. then i tried with a zoom lens, which worked insanely well. Don't ask me why because i don't know, but my zoom lens were 140mm if you're interested. anyway, go ahead and read this post: http://www.photopoly.net/how-to-take-amazing-bokeh-photos/ to understand more hehe because it really, really helped me. (:

with the first 42mm lens. you can see that the light is kinda unfocused but then again, it's doens't have that bokeh effect to it.

hehe hi :3 I haven't blogged in the longest time, at least in my opinion. I have a ton of photos and i have finally uploaded or edited everything i wanted to on ONE card, i still have one more but that can wait. ~~Tomorrow~~ today is the last day of school and I feel a mix of emotions. I'll definitely miss AHS, but then again I'm excited to leave, for next year brings new beginnings and exciting experiences. But I'm not thinking much about these things, I'm just taking it day by day and this plan is working so far.

EXAMS. ARE. OVER.

hehe hi guys i'm backkkkk like finally. ^v^

I wanted to post this post yesterday, but i fell asleep because i was just too tired & ended up sleeping for 12hrs straight so i'm in a really good mood now.

since exams have been over life has been like reaalllly good, mini olympics yesterday was fun because we managed to get the cheer done which was a major worry for me since I'm incharge of it with beiyi. oh and our storyline for drama camp is decided which is like ASDFGHJKL YIPEE.

i think this is going to be a wordy post. just bear with it alright. (:

hehe so yep! and i've been really sad because my baby dslr was spoilt & the buttons weren't working so ):

hehe but i got my dad to go fix it & yesterday he told me the entire long story about him going to the olympus headquarters to get it go fixed & supposedly for my old olympus (e-450), THE BODY CORRODED. which is lol, indescribable. I guess because the day i brought it to the beach (2 posts ago!) it rained. and then my dslr spoilt. so. oh and i keep letting it touch abit of water. OOPS. meh so i thought i would get scolded super terribly or something (oops) but my dad BOUGHT ME A NEW CAMERA OMG LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE <3

my emotions then was a mix of pure insane joy and happiness and being really relived LOL. I was just so happy because this is a semi-pro camera (olympus e-30). AND A SEMI-PRO DSLR IS THE BOMB DOT COM BECAUSE my previous one was a sad mini-sized dslr. like beginner amateur kind. But i am happy i HAD my e-450, because fr that camera i learnt dslr basics then now i have a better camera to play with. So for all the people planning to get a dslr, maybe you should try a beginner camera first. (:

so yep! i am really, incredibly thankful to my dad because i've been lemming a semi-pro camera like for the longest time and even without asking him, he got me one. I honestly thought i was gonna get scolded badly/get a normal compact/change it to a new e-450 but he got me a new camera which is why i'm just so grateful and thankful and happy and excited and a mix of good emotions.

hehe yep! i'm just x100000 thankful for everything. And for anyone who wants a big-ticket item (ie a new dslr), just pray for it. I didn't and I got it. Sometimes i think God just places crazy ideas into people's head but those crazy ideas just make others incredibly thankful and I just feel so so so blessed right now. (:

I am aware i haven't posted in the longest time ): but here are some photos of my september holiday week to make up for it (: kinda been sloth-ing at home in peace and in no contact with the world. the september holidays were short, but enjoyable i guess.

pictures from my aunt's baptism last saturday! it was pretty awesome cuz my cousins and my aunts and i just nua-ed at the beach, i tried to study but failed because there was a light drizzle and i was so afraid of my notes getting wet. sad face. besides that "studying" i haven't been studying much LOLOL. but the scenery was typical & beautiful, and i just took some shots. I like east coast park alot cuz it's so serene when there are no screaming kids around.

well, for whatever reason the evening of today kinda made me really moody for no particular reason. the earlier part of the day was really good though, with all the teacher's day celebrations and whatnot. hopefully gonna go out and buy some stuff tomorrow. a small bit of retail therapy (:

finally, my proper update. Gonna blog about my weekend! it was super awesome, especially sunday bc monday was a half day + no lessons so we could stay out really late. i kinda forgot what i did on saturday haha oops.

anyway basically went to my old house + singapore food trail for dinner after that. my old house/apartment was recently sold so we decided to go back one last time to take some pictures so we could remember it forever! i spent the first 5 years of my life there before we moved to my current house (which is gonna undergo renovations soon) and it's also the first place my parents lived when they got married! so its a pretty awesome place and it was pretty hard to say goodbye but oh well.

Yep then after that on to singapore food trail! it was a really cool place (singapore flyer area) The food was alright, but the ambience was really good + touristy so thumbs up for the ambience. the food was alright, not bad but not the best either.

Another cool thing was that they had this shop with really cool stuff, all for sale too! Mostly for tourists i guess.

Also got this super awesome sweet that is affectionately known as "Ding ding candy" or "Tock Tock candy" hahaha but this has been the best one i've ever tried in my life! and i've tried quite a few different shops, this is so far the best!

So yeah that was basically my sunday. off to paint my nails and sleep. Wanna go out to study tomorrow, hopefully it works out!

wanted to post something before july ended, but time passed so oh well. had an awesome weekend. sorry for the lack of updates, but life has been pretty normal to tell you the truth. besides the little things in life that make life happy, life has been pretty alright and normal. i don't wanna say it has been boring/bad because i still have DaddyGod in my life. <: but yeah, august is here. idk, when i realised it was already 1 august, it just struck me. time has been going SO FAST. it seems as though i don't have enough time to live my life to the fullest.

but i guess, i'll just leave time to God's hands. this month has a pretty good amount of holidays (whoohoo) but a shitload of tests. ohwell. september is gonna be a heartracing month. but BY GOD'S GRACE, i am really hoping september is gonna be a good month. it's gonna be a life changing month, literally.

Life has been pretty mundane so i shall blog about FLEA ON SATURDAY! bought a romper, one shirt + one dress + one watch & really happy w all my purchases, no regrets. <: also my sandals came today which i ordered from wonderstellar about 1 month ago! it was on backorder so waited 3 weeks, plus i didn't add my postal code so it got pushed back a few days again. ended up waiting about a month but totally worth it bc they are super chio & can wear with many outfits. <:

alright so i know my blog has been dead for super long. T.T but anw i have an explanation (kinda) OKAY! i've just been really pig-like and sleeping at 6pm everyday kinda thing HAHA. there hasn't been much homework/learning of anything/tests recently so life has been pretty awesome, but these are LONG overdue pictures of things that i've been doing! (: there is about 60-ish pictures and i hope i get into blogging more. <: i've just finished the composition that has been bugging me for a week plus and i feel super accomplished so well, yay me. :>

PICTURE SET 1: SALVATION ARMY!

basically over the youth day holiday i went to the salvation army with beiyi! had alot of fun & it was just a pretty cool experience. :> i went to the one at bukit timah (which rocked & was clean etcetc) and the one at serangoon (which i heard was GREAT but sucked when i went there. super dusty + nothing cool. >: )

took 67 straight bus to salvation army & asked the uncle about 3 times about the stop. talked and talked on the bus, tried to read out reading materials and just slept abit. the uncle was really nice though! :> i still remember, when our stop was reaching he actually turned behind (we moved to the seat behind the drivers seat so it'll be easier to talk to him LOL) and told us it was arriving, plus when we alighted he was like: "Gonna buy some secondhand stuff isit?" He was just really nice la hor. :> anw then we got off and it was at this DAMN ulu area, we didn't even know where to cross until some indian woman told us so thanks to her :> but yeah, then we saw this sign among the construction

(they were building downtown line) and i got SO HAPPY hahaha (:

anw it took us damn long to find the family thrift store HAHA because, we first walked into the MAIN building and there was seriously NO ONE there, damn scary actually. then we saw some sign that the thrift store was downstairs so we took the lift down. then when the lift doors opened, we walked out and IT WAS COMPLETELY PITCH DARK like seriously dnfkjsnfksdbnjn! then we screamed and ran back in HAHA. when we reached the original floor there SUDDENLY were people and we asked them about the thrift store so they told us :> HAHAHA that was a cool experience la (:

got an autograph from luc longley! he was the first aussie to play in the NBAs but has retired alr.
